IS Field Engineer (Israel)

The AeroScout Field Engineer is a key technical contributor on the installation, implementation and integration of AeroScout's wireless based, RFID solutions. The Field Engineer is responsible for successfully deploying and supporting Aeroscout Location solutions at customers' sites beginning with pilots or proof of concepts through all phases of deployment to post-installation technical support.

Based in: Rehovot, Israel
Travel: Up to 75%, primarily in Europe & Asia-Pacific

Qualifications

Experience:

• 2+ years of hands–on experience as a Support/Field/Sales Engineer including enterprise software installations
• 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • IP networks and routers configurations
  • Wireless LAN
• Hands on experience installing, configuration and testing software and hardware.

Preferred:

• Experience in Location systems – Cisco 2700 LBS/WCS, General TDOA and/or RSSI
• Consulting experience a plus.

Attributes:

• Ability to interact with customers to identify requirements and implementation the solution to meet their requirements.
• Ability to technically troubleshoot software and/or hardware to isolate a problem and resolve it.
• Team player with good communication skills, positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
