AeroScout Engine is a software component of the AeroScout Visibility System, which enables location and visibility applications in a standard wireless LAN environment. AeroScout Engine processes information received from nearly any vendor’s wireless Access Points to produce accurate and reliable location data for assets and people tagged with AeroScout's Wi-Fi Tags and for devices with standard Wi-Fi clients.

AeroScout Engine has been chosen by Cisco to be embedded directly into their own products, to power their location determination and processing. The AeroScout Engine is embedded and integrated into the Cisco Mobility Services Engine (MSE).
